The material is Yasugi Steel Blue Paper.The scabbard is chrome plated. A versatile knife that can be used for a variety of purposes, including sharpening pencils, outdoors, and cutting food. The blade is shaped like a spiderweb, and the sheath is decorated with a spiders. This knife is in contrast to the butterfly-shaped Higonokami Papillio, and is a gorgeous piece.
