Choju-giga is a nationally treasured sumi-e painting that is said to be Japan's oldest manga depicting the games of animals.
The animals depicted on them are hand engraving into Higonokami knives.
It offers excellent sharpness and durability, ensuring it can be used for many years.
Perfect as a protective talisman knife, or for woodworking, bamboo crafting, DIY, and outdoor activities.
All Higonokami knives in our shop are crafted by Nagao Kanekoma Factory, established in 1894 (Meiji 27).
It is the only remaining manufacturer of authentic Higonokami knives in Japan.
